1. Sixbert K. MOURICE (PhD), Supervised by Prof. C.L. Rweyemamu, Prof. Tumbo,S.D and Dr. Amuri, N.
    His research topic is “Parameterization of DSSAT model for evaluating water-limited maize potential yield and yield gaps in the Wami-Ruvu river basin” The financial support is only to cover some research components. The student is progressing well with field work and modeling using DSSAT model.
  2. Barnabas M. MSONGALELI (PhD), Supervised by Prof Rwehumbiza, F; Prof Tumbo, S.D. and Prof. Kihupi, N.I.His research topic is “Assessment of Impacts of Climate Variability and Change on Rainfed Crop Productivity”. The financial support is only to cover some research components. The student is progressing well with field work and modelling using APSIM
  3. Victoria J. MUGULA (MSc), – Supervised by Dr. K.D.S. Mutabazi.Her research topic was “Economic of Climate Change Adaptation in smallholder Rice Production Systems in Wami-Ruvu Basin, Tanzania”. The financial support is for 12 months covering tuition fee, research and stipend. This student has Hosted Graduates completed her MSc studies.
  4. Tatu S. MNIMBO (MSc), – Supervised by Dr. J. Mbwambo.
    Her research topic was “A gendered analysis of vulnerability to climate change among smallholder farmers: The case of Same District.” The financial support was for 4 months for stipend and second year tuition fee.This student has completed her MSc studies.
  5. Ibrahim L. KADIGI (MSc) has been recruited as a research associate for 6 months to assist in economic modelling using TOA-MD
  6. Stephen Peter MUNISHI (PhD), was supervised by Dr. K.D.S. Mutabazi.His research topic is “Economics of Climate Change Impact and Adaptation in Tanzania: Case of Maize and Rice Sub-sectors” The financial  support was for 36 months covering tuition fee, research and stipend. This student postponed his studies and consequently he is no longer supported by the project.
  7. Joyce V. SILAYO has been recruited as an MSc student – supervised by Dr. K.D.S. Mutabazi.Her research topic is ”Economic impacts of climate change on Maize  production  in  sub-humid  and semi-arid Areas of Tanzania”. The financial support is for covering research, transport and accommodation.
