Thematic groups

1. Research:

• Identify research gaps in line with the National Agriculture Research Agenda
• Coordinate all research activities
• Prepare progress reports (quarterly and annually)
• Prepare work plan and budget for the working group
• Coordinate the members within the working group

2.Knowledge and data management:

• Collect and document validated research findings, success stories and testimonies
• Develop/improve the training manuals based on the generated findings for training purposes
• Organise the exchange and learning visit for decision makers
• Prepare workplan and budget for the working group
• Coordinate the members within the working group

3. Innovation and advocacy:

• Identify opportunities for innovation to improve Hub activities
• Foster a conducive environment for creativity and innovation within the Hub
• Advocate for policy changes that support Hub activities and goals using evidence based arguments
• Develop policy briefs, presentations and position papers for decision makers
• Establish partnerships with stakeholders who can support advocacy efforts
